I found these lovely pastels, the ones that Degas used, on one of my favorite blogs...Le Divan Fumoir Bohemian. The colors are insane... They remind me of this lovely painting by Shana Frase. I love vintage art supplies (see first picture with some of my goodies), but even better when they look vintage and are actually top quality implements. Love that they create them by hand with machinery that looks like it should be in a museum. Pastels are the new watercolor!
